My postman must be working overtime

My postman must seriously not like me at the moment. I've gone from the usual collection of junk mail and bills to a daily delivery of parcels and packages. Its fantastic! Todays delightful offerings included 5 new pillowcase dresses and a lovely giveaway prize!

The first dress was from the lovely Cath at egiraffe. Cath and I met randomly at a craft fair in Bristol. I was chatting to her about the gorgeous fabric doorstops she was selling when I realised I had actually bought one of them the night before online via folksy! Luckily she trusted me enough to hand it over and we discovered a mutual addiction to fabric. We have since discovered that we have mutual friends in common and had both been at their wedding. Small world eh! Cath has a lovely blog which you can find here

Her dress was gorgeous as expected. A lovely red spotty fabric with daisies all over it.

Cath used lovely red gingham binding too. So pretty.

The second dress was from Becky who has another lovely blog called Hazel and Blue. Becky used a thrifted pillowcase for her dress and this dress is very special because its her first EVER dress! I think she has done a fantastic job.

It has pretty co-orodinating ribbon at the bottom and pink ties. The pattern is a really pretty pale pink and blue.  Gorgeous!

Helen whose fab blog I discovered recently called The Undomesticated Scientist sent another lovely dress made from a vintage pillowcase. This one has pretty purple and pink flowers

It is finished off with purple binding at the arms and on the hem and has lovely lilac ribbon ties. So pretty.

and I also received another 2 dresses made from pillowcases. This time from Beckie of The Cherry Tree House (another lovely new blog to follow). I love that Beckie has made 2 different versions from her pillowcases. The first using elastic has a beautiful appliqued flower and sweet little pocket.

The second dress uses a gorgeous ribbon instead of elastic and has 2 sweet little pockets.

I also love the way that the top of the pockets are lined with different fabric. Another great idea.

Thanks everyone. I so appreciate all your hard work and support. This takes our total to 46 dresses!!!!

My other lovely parcel came from Beverley who has a fab blog called Elizabeths Attic. I won Beverleys '2nd year of blogging' surprise giveaway. and was lucky enough to receive a gorgeous box of goodies in the post.

Included in my prize was lots of lovely fabric pieces including some very cute cat felt which Izzy has already bagged.

A tooth fairy cushion (this is now in Izzy's room!), a lovely bag of beads, a gorgeous bag of vintage buttons, a really lovely little scented cushion which I am going to use as a pin cushion (I love the pom pom trim - must get me some of that!) and some fab bunting.

What a lovely surprise. Thanks Beverley. I have been very spoilt this week with so many lovely things.

Apologies to my postman though....
